Moorak and Ministry — Hybrid
March 2023.
Ministry is a stalwart in the shifting Brewing industry in South Australia. The man behind Ministry is Brett. His ethos is not marketed on trend, it's produced through focussed work. The quality of his brewing is shown through his conscious and very deliberate methodology.
Brett himself is softly spoken and holds a humble profile, wanting his product to do the talking. His property in the Barossa Valley is quaint, family orientated and shows his passion for creation. No fanfare or fit-outs, it’s all work - like a studio or lab, there's no ego.
The space like many creative spaces, is filled, wall to wall with ongoing projects, brewing, idling and building. It's hard to tell through the chaos, but watching him work, you can see his process is meticulous.

This approach is a mutual direction for both Brett and Jordan. Both creative and technical processes coexist, each process measured and and with purpose. Meeting through conversation of experimentation, Jordan and Brett found they both had a curiosity to push the boundaries of co-fermentations.
Introducing the experimental Hybrid, a skin contact Red Semillon Blonde Sour. A progressive sour wine, created with calculated intent.
