Oakbank, Adelaide HillsBroadening our last incarnation of the Meunier and building on the shortcomings of the previous vintages, it’s become a riper and more mature wine.
Previously experimenting with fermentations to explore the changes in characteristics, the focus for ‘22 became the combination of destemming and cold fermentation.
This direction developed a deeper outcome, capturing gentle and delicate characteristics of dried flowers, raspberries and slightly grassy. All the while, the wine maintains the expectations of its contemporary nature.
Approachable still, for those who've trusted it before, with an added depth that refines it, stacking up next to more complex wines.
