Carey Gully, Adelaide HillsThe Glendhu vineyard consistently grows a high- quality Chardonnay. With consecutive vintages using their fruit, the aim is to continually build on a stylistic direction.
Using a developing technical knowledge, this Chardonnay is a level above our previous.
Whole bunch pressed to ferment in seasoned barriques and a second year filled puncheon. All nested on its full solids to gently develop texture without stirring to retain its acidity and drive.
Flinty and aromatically intense, similar to its ‘21 predecessor, it holds richness and a solid drive of acidity.
With its elegance and maturity, it is most likely our best representation of Chardonnay to date.
