Riesling
— a few ways

After working with and understanding the Riesling from Yacca Paddock Vineyard in previous vintages, built a lot of trust for them as the grower. The aim was to combine some of the techniques from previous experience, and develop the Riesling for 2021.
Experimenting with Riesling in multiple ways has provided a steep learning curve. The variety is sensitive, able to express vivid character — time on skins, fermentation temperatures, various vessels for maturing, each have a big impact on the final drop.
This nature of the Riesling variety, despite a saturated ‘classic’ market, stands to create something unique, which is a focus for Moorak.
