Despite the weather not leaning into Golden Hour as hoped, the warmth and glow of Pastel, filled with friends and wine and food made for a beautiful night.
The Paper plates spread out and shared around, a humble and casual presentation of the incredible snacks by Chef Jimmy Garside and his crew. The food paired with wines by us and music by Elise and Jack Roberts.
We wanted the night to make sense, each of us (Pastel, Chef Jimmy and Moorak) coming together to with our own to bolster the other.
We're grateful for Dan and the Pastel family for the hospitality, and to the v/ talented and humble Jimmy for what has to be the most underrated food in Adelaide.
Special thank you to the DJ's Elise and Jack Roberts, and thank you for your support if you came through for a wine or for the night. Means a lot to share our wines in a setting like that, with people like you. Much love.
